CreditCare Technology
Financial participation in emerging markets is constrained by gaps in regulation, legal frameworks, and physical distribution. CreditCare addresses these at the infrastructure layer: AI-driven credit scoring for thin-file borrowers and a distribution network of 20,000+ retail touchpoints.
The company operates under non-depository bank licenses issued by national regulators in the Philippines and Vietnam — each secured after roughly two and a half years of regulatory process, each with a 50-year term. A licensing posture built for multi-decade integration of unbanked populations into the formal economy, not a sandbox pilot. Operations in Nigeria run through the company’s partnership with MoneyGram International and local partner banks.

BrightArc
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit deploying essential infrastructure — clean water, digital connectivity, education — into climate-disrupted and economically marginalized communities. Founded after the Flint water crisis, on a simple premise: resilience that excludes the marginalized is not resilience.
SurePod Corporation
Senior-care hardware connecting telecom, healthcare, and medical equipment manufacturing into one interoperable system. Reached full deployment — 3,000+ units through medical equipment distributors, $1M+ in recurring subscription revenue, and the 2012 Connected World Mobile Innovation Award — before being acquired for its hardware and subscription business.
SurePod established the thesis the later ventures are built on: complex systems don’t interoperate by default; value is created by architecting the connective layer. Solid Conference talk · O’Reilly interview
